BUSINESS CARD MOCKUP USING SMART OBJECT

Business card mockup step by step post wll make you understand how to create business card mockup in photoshop.

First step

Download any image from Google search or any free stock images website like Pixabay.

and open in Photoshop

For creating your own business card mock up file you have to take business card image

Third step

Create a new layer and make rectangle selection and fill or you can fill color in the whole layer. for that take rectangular selection tool and for fill press Alt+Backspace

Marquee Tool:

This tool can be used to make selections. There are four different types which are:

Rectangular – This will make a Rectangular selection

Elliptical – This will make an Elliptical selection

SingleColumn – This will make a Column selection

SingleRow – This will make a Row selection

Forth step

Give name to layer For example “front” .

Fifth step

right click on “front” layer After that select “Convert to smart object”.

Sixth step

Ok less the value of fill to 80% or 50% for adjust the layer transformation.

Seventh step

Press “Ctrl+T” for transformation tool.right click on it and select “distort” option

Eighth step

Place the anchor point on the corners of the business card. look at the image below and do the same

Ninth step

After adjusting anchor point to corners. go to fill and reset value to 100.

Tenth step

Ok that’s it we done our mock up file. now its time to make good design for our business card.

for that just double click on “front” layer. it will open new window of “front” layer.

Eleventh step

You can change anything in the “Front” smart object layer it will update in your business card window. one thing you should do after designing most importantly save your window and check your business card window it will update.

Friends, Today I will tell you how to make a Double Exposure Effect

Step 1

Open your chosen image in Photoshop and make any corrections where necessary.

Step 2

Click on the Create New Fill or Adjustment Icon at the bottom of the Layers panel and choose Solid Color.

Step 3

Fill with white and press OK.

Step 4

Click on the lock on the ‘Background’ layer – our original image – to turn this into a normal layer that we can move around the stack of layers. Drag this on top of the white-filled layers so it becomes visible again.

Step 5

Next, we need to cut out our model from the background so she’s sat on a pure white background. The easiest tool for block color backgrounds is the Quick Selection tool.
Create a rough selection around the model.

Step 6

Use Photoshop’s Refine Edge tool to draw around the edge of the model’s hairline and capture all those fine hairs and details. For full instructions on how to cut out using the Refine Edge dialog, read our Hair masking – How To Cut Out Hair in Photoshop tutorial here.
Once you’re happy with your selection, choose Layer Mask from the Output drop-down menu and click OK.

Step 7

Rename this layer ‘Bottom Image’ and convert it to Black and White by clicking on the Black and White button in the Adjustments panel.

Step 8

This is what my image looks like with the Black and White adjustment’s standard settings. We can adjust the results, but it can be easier to just apply another adjustment that does exactly what we want.

Step 9

Add a Curves layer, also from the Adjustments Panel, and use the pop-up Properties panel to add more contrast to your image where needed.
The darker areas of your image are where the second ‘exposure’ will show through, so make sure you have plenty of dark areas to show through

Step 10

Now, open your second image in Photoshop. The second image can be anything you wish – I’ve used another pose from the same shoot.
Make any minor adjustments as necessary.

Step 11

Drag-&-drop the new image into the first document, holding down the Shift key to centralize the image. Resize as necessary by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + T and holding down the Alt key whilst dragging on any of the corner points.

Step 12

Rename this layer ‘Top Image’ and convert it to Black and White by using the Black and White button in the Adjustments panel.

Step 13

Next, let’s choose a blending mode that will allow areas of both images to show.
With ‘Top Image’ selected in the Layers panel, pick one of the following four blending modes: Lighten, Screen, Linear Dodge (Add), or Lighter Colour. The results will vary dependent on your own images.

Step 14

With the Move tool selected (V), experiment with different compositions by moving the ‘Top Image’ layer until you’re happy with the placement.

Step 15

Depending on how your images are working together, you may want to add another Curves adjustment layer above the ‘Top Image’ layer – or go back and make further changes to your original Curves layer to increase the contrast on the double-exposed areas.

Step 16

Add a Layer Mask to the ‘Top Image’ layer and, with a soft black brush, mask away any areas of the top mask that you feel don’t sit well with the overall composition.
Here, I’ve brought back some of the eye detailing from the ‘Bottom Image’ layer

Step 17

Finally, let’s add a hint of color. In the Adjustments panel, click on the Add Hue/Saturation button.
Check the Colorize tick box in the Properties Panel. Slide the Hue and Saturation bars until you reach the desired effect.

Step 18

Going Forward: You could also experiment with a range of other second images, like this selection of trees I have stored in my photo archives.

Step 19

Using the same method as shown in steps 7-13, I applied this image of the trees as a ‘double exposure’ for a creepier look.

Male Dispersion effect photoshop tutorial 2017

The dispersion effect is a great way to add a bit of drama and flair to your images – and once you understand the basics, you can get as creative as you want

Step: 1

Open your image in Photoshop and duplicate the layer (Alt + J or Command + J on Mac).

Next, hide the new layer by clicking on the Eye icon.

Step: 2

Select the original layer and use the Quick Selection tool to draw around the subject.

Step: 3

Create a new layer for background & give gradient too it.

Step: 4

With the layer selected, go to the Filter option in the top menu bar and choose “Liquify”.

Step: 5

Using the Forward Warp tool (first option on left), drag out the area of the image you want to see dispersed.

You can increase or decrease the radius of the brush using the square brackets on your keyboard. Use the left bracket “[” to decrease the radius and the right bracket “]” to increase the radius.

The degree of distortion you apply will form the distance of the dispersion or disintegration in your final image. In other words, distort it as intensely.

Once you’re happy, click OK.

Step: 6

Next, with your Dispersion layer selected, hold Alt (or Option for Mac) on your keyboard and click on the Mask button at the bottom of the Layers panel. This masks or hides the layer.

The Mask button is the rectangle with a circle within it.

Step: 7

Select the “Foreground” layer in the Layers panel and click Mask without holding down Alt (or Option).

You should see that your Dispersion layer has a black mask, while the Foreground layer has a white mask. The former is a Hide Mask, while the latter is a Reveal Mask.

Step: 8

With your Foreground mask selected, click on the Brush tool and choose a dispersion brush from the Brush panel.

Make sure the foreground colour of the brush is set to black when on the “Foreground” layer as this is what blocks out (that is “masks”) bits of the selected layer. Start blotting out parts of the image.

Play with the brush size, type and rotation of the brush so the dispersed bits don’t look like a pattern.

Step: 9

From the Filter menu at the top, choose Sharpen, and then Unsharp Mask.

Step: 10

I am using nik collection for filter (download from here). you can use filter menu as well.
